Richie Adams is an award-winning filmmaker who cut his teeth as a title designer (Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Babel, Ad Astra) under the mentorship of legendary title designer, Richard Greenberg (Alien, Untouchables, The Matrix), and since 2005, under his own company banner, Louisiana-based RRC.
 
RRC is a boutique live-action studio delivering design and related services for film and television and directing/producing award-winning commercials, including an EMMY® nomination.
 
As a title designer, Adams has worked with many of the great players in the motion picture industry, including Alejandro González Iñárritu, David Frankel, James Gray, and newcomers like Ryan Coogler, for whom Adams designed/produced titles and special graphic sequences for the Sundance Grand Dramatic winning Fruitvale Station, and Coogler’s follow up hit, Creed.
 
As a film director, Richie’s narrative feature Of Mind and Music, starring Joaquim De Almeida, and Oscar Nominees Aunjanue Ellis and Ruth Negga, received numerous audience and juried awards on the film festival circuit, as well as Outstanding Independent Feature at the 2016 Black Reel Awards.
 
The Road Dance written and directed by Adams took home the Audience Award for Best Feature at its world premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and was a Top 10 Arthouse feature in UK theaters in the summer of 2022. 

 

Adams is currently involved in the development of several feature film projects, including an original script on the life story of one of the NFL’s most lauded Hall-of-Fame quarterbacks, Jim Kelly, an adapted screenplay based on the book, Mr. Townsend and the Polish Prince, and an original script called ‘Pedro Pan’ about Cuban families seeking refuge for their children in America during the Cuban Revolution.
